MUST:
The qualified Medical Assistant must have experience:
4+years of experience as a medical assistant in a private medical practice
Registered or Certified is preferred or must have a medical assistant diploma
Strong clinical skills
Must have phlebotomy experience
Ability to take vitals and give injections
Ability to assist doctors as needed
EKG's
Strong communications skills and strong clinical knowledge and abilities
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
Must have strong computer/EMR skills
DUTIES:
Medical assistant will be responsible for the following:
Rooming and triaging patients
Taking vitals
Entering patient information into EMR system
Keeping exam rooms cleaned and stocked
Phlebotomy
Ensure all related labs and reports are entered into patients charts
Give instructions to patients as needed
Take vitals
