Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. Pay:$22/hour

Responsibilities:

1. 
   Patient Care:
   
   • Escort patients to examination rooms and prepare them for the physician.
   • Record vital signs, medical history, and chief complaints accurately.
   • Assist healthcare providers during medical procedures and examinations.
   • Educate patients on treatment procedures, medications, and preventive healthcare measures.
2. 
   Administrative Tasks:
   
   • Schedule patient appointments, tests, and procedures efficiently.
   • Maintain electronic health records (EHR) and ensure data accuracy and confidentiality.
   • Manage patient inquiries, phone calls, and messages promptly and professionally.
   • Coordinate referrals to specialists and follow up on patient care as necessary.
3. 
   Clinical Support:
   
   • Perform basic laboratory tests such as blood draws, urinalysis, and EKGs.
   • Prepare and sterilize medical instruments and equipment for procedures.
   • Assist with wound care, dressing changes, and medication administration.
   • Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety standards.
4. 
   Collaboration:
   
   • Communicate effectively with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care.
   • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other medical staff to optimize workflow.
   • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a medical assistant program preferred.
• Certification or registration as a Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) is desirable.
• Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is advantageous.
• Proficiency in medical terminology, electronic health records (EHR), and basic computer skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail in both clinical and administrative tasks.
• Ability to maintain composure in fast-paced environments and prioritize tasks effectively.
