Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist healthcare professionals in providing exceptional patient care and support. From administrative tasks to clinical procedures, the Medical Assistant will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations within the medical facility.
Pay:$22/hour
Responsibilities:

Patient Care:
- Escort patients to examination rooms and prepare them for the physician.
- Record vital signs, medical history, and chief complaints accurately.
- Assist healthcare providers during medical procedures and examinations.
- Educate patients on treatment procedures, medications, and preventive healthcare measures.

Administrative Tasks:
- Schedule patient appointments, tests, and procedures efficiently.
- Maintain electronic health records (EHR) and ensure data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Manage patient inquiries, phone calls, and messages promptly and professionally.
- Coordinate referrals to specialists and follow up on patient care as necessary.

Clinical Support:
- Perform basic laboratory tests such as blood draws, urinalysis, and EKGs.
- Prepare and sterilize medical instruments and equipment for procedures.
- Assist with wound care, dressing changes, and medication administration.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety standards.

Collaboration:
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other medical staff to optimize workflow.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a medical assistant program preferred.
- Certification or registration as a Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) is desirable.
- Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is advantageous.
- Proficiency in medical terminology, electronic health records (EHR), and basic computer skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail in both clinical and administrative tasks.
- Ability to maintain composure in fast-paced environments and prioritize tasks effectively.
