About the Job
Position Open: Registered/Certified Medical Assistant , Med Tech or Nurse Assistant for our Cardiology office. (Monday-Friday: 9AM to 5:30PM)

Duties:
- Directs patient to proper exam/treatment rooms.
- Performs patient intake (obtaining vital signs, performing medication reconciliation, performs EKGs/Holter Monitoring and other diagnostic testing as requested.)
- Maintains neat and clean, organized work areas, cleans/sanitizes work areas and exam rooms on a regular basis.
- Appointment scheduling/appointment confirmation calls, chart-prep, patient check-in/out, and other front office tasks including collecting co-pays, referrals/tracking, answering phones, and message taking.
- Consistently projects a positive office image by maintaining professional behaviors at all times including smiling, greeting patients with enthusiasm, and interacting with patients and staff in an upbeat and helpful manner. (Neat, clean and professional scrub attire expected and required)
- Fax/Data entry and processing.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have reliable transportation, must be dependable. Flexibility to work additional days, if needed.
- Applicant must be a problem solver, offer flexibility, and be open-minded.
- Cardiology/Internal Medicine/Family Practice background preferred but not necessary.
- Candidate must have knowledge regarding medications names and their usage.
- Knowledgeable with EMR (eClinicalWorks, a plus).
