Location: North Hospital 4050 W. Memorial Rd. OKC, OK 73120
Shift: Full time, Days, Monday -Friday no weekends no holidays
Responsibilities:

Under the direct guidance of the Clinic Nurse Director, Clinic Director, or Supervising RN, you'll play a pivotal role in daily clinic operations. From managing patient flow and recording vital histories to assisting with diagnostic testing and maintaining essential medical supplies, your contributions will be crucial. Embrace a dynamic range of responsibilities and make a tangible impact on patient care every day.
Primary Duties:
- Greet visitors, determine their needs, and direct them appropriately.
- Answer phones and route calls to the right staff.
- Prepare patients for exams by taking histories, vital signs, and managing medications.
- Set up and maintain treatment rooms and supplies.
- Administer vaccines, apply dressings, and perform treatments like suture removal.
- Triage patient calls and authorize drug refills.
- Order and manage clinical and office supplies.
- Complete insurance forms and manage medical records.
- Route messages and documents, and transcribe interactions into medical records.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Licensure/Certification: BLS certification required within 18 months of hire. Newly hired team members with a minimum of one (1) year of Medical Assistant experience will be required to complete within 90 days of hire. If a new team member is hired with no Medical Assistant experience than they will have to obtain the certification within 90 days after obtaining the one (1) year of required Medical Assistant experience.
Experience: Six (6) months to one (1) year of continuous experience in a clinic setting preferred.
