A Well Known Hospital located in Flushing, NY has an immediate need for a Medical Assistant

Type: Contract
Schedule: 08:00am-04:00pm (includes a 45min break)
Location: Flushing, NY

Requirements:
NY State Certified Medical Assistant
High school diploma plus completion of an accredited program as a Medical Assistant
Previous Medical Assistant experience required.
NHA Certification preferred not required
Experience working in a medical office setting, has the experience using EMR such as EPIC, taking vital signs and drawing blood
OB GYN experience preferred
Knowledge of venipuncture, laboratory equipment, venipuncture techniques, performing venipuncture
Experience working with Adults and Geriatrics is preferred
Knowledge of EKG/ECG.
Drawing Blood/Specimen collection.
