Medical Assistant (MA) at Mitchell Martin

A Well Known Hospital located in Flushing, NY has an immediate need for a Medical Assistant

Type: Contract
Schedule: 9:00 am - 5:45 pm (includes a 45min break)
Location: Flushing, NY

Requirements:
NY State Certified Medical Assistant
High school diploma plus completion of an accredited program as a Medical Assistant.
Previous Medical Assistant experience required.
NHA Certification preferred not required
At least 1 year experience as a Medical Assistant; experienced with phlebotomy
OB GYN experience preferred
Knowledge of venipuncture, laboratory equipment, venipuncture techniques, performing venipuncture
Experience working with Adults and Geriatrics is preferred
EMR EPIC experience.
Drawing Blood/Specimen collection.
Bilingual/Spanish, previous MA experience.
