Medical Assistant, Oregon Allergy Associates - Praxis Health
Eugene, OR 97401
About the Job
Oregon Allergy Associates is looking for an experienced candidate to join their dynamic team of health care providers. The members of this established team pride themselves on outstanding customer service and impacting patients’ lives in a positive way. If you are an energetic Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) who would like a unique opportunity in a well-established specialty clinic, then this is the position for you.
In this role, you will work closely with your Physician/Advanced Practitioner in a team approach. Patient visits are currently documented using a scribe model which allows for staff members to become much more knowledgeable about the disease processes impacting allergy patients, and the appropriate treatment plans to impact their lives in a positive way. Assistants in this office are very hands on, performing the majority of the in-house procedures for the health care provider.
The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and work well with both patients and coworkers. They will be a team player, ready to step in where needed and show flexibility during busy times. They should take the initiative to identify and address needs, and offer feedback and suggestions for improving workflows and processes. Finally, the ideal candidate will be able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced, forward-thinking, and innovative environment.
