Medical Assistant Certification not required. The Oncology Institute will pay for your certification exam when you're ready!
This position is located in our Glendale clinic.

Our Medical Assistants are important. When you join our family, you will influence how we provide care for our patients while acting as a critical member of the entire care team.
As a Medical Assistant, you will help us by performing administrative and clinical duties across the Front and Back Office.
Responsibilities:
- EMR Charting
- Interview patients for the purpose of gathering health history and current medications.
- Take and document vital signs. This may include, but is not limited to patients' height, weight, temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure manually but not limited to use of device.
- Injections, as necessary.
- Participate in mandatory staff meetings as needed.
- Assist with inventory organization and stocking of exam rooms and labs.
- Promote TOI's culture of exceptional behavioral standards for customer service.
- Assisting with coverage at surrounding clinics as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
- Successful completion of Medical Assistant Diploma program
- High school graduate or GED
Preferred Qualifications:
Medical Assistant Certificate preferred, not required.
