Key Responsibilities: 

• Take and record vital signs and detailed medical histories to ensure accurate patient care. 

• Prepare patients for examinations, helping them feel comfortable and informed. 

• Perform phlebotomy and assist in collecting laboratory specimens for testing. 

• Administer medications under physician direction and ensure patients understand their treatments. 

• Authorize drug refills and coordinate with pharmacies on prescription details. 

• Support the overall functioning of the clinic by handling both clinical and administrative tasks as needed. 

Qualifications: 

• High School Diploma or GED is required. 

• Prior Medical Assistant experience is a must—your hands-on experience makes you a valuable part of our team. 

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) is preferred but not required. 

• Experience with Athena EMR is a big plus!
