Medical Assistant / Patient Care Coordinator - Visiting Docs

PART TIME POSITION with NO weekends or late evenings required!

Are you an experienced, courteous, empathetic, kind, energetic Medical Assistant who wants to make a difference in the lives of the elderly patient poulation? We are looking to fill one (1) Medical Assistant position in Amsterdam, NY.  The position is located in a medical office that is within an assisted living facility. 

Responsibilities and Duties

• Meeting and greeting patients and families in person, by phone and email.
• Assisting with patient registration, patient flow, patient records.
• Providing direct patient care.
• Care coordination.
• Inventory tracking and supply stocking.

Qualifications and Skills

• Must have at least one (1) year as a Medical Assistant or related healthcare experience.
• Direct patient care experience preferred.
• Experience with eClinicalWorks preferred.
• Experience with multi-tasking.
• Experience in primary, geriatric and specialty care preferred but not necessary.

Hours

• Monday - Friday, 9 AM - 2 PM
