Medical Assistant/Scribe - Texas Health Care PLLC

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a part-time Medical Assistant/Scribe to join our team. The primary responsibilities include rooming patients, assisting with various tasks on the clinic floor, and providing scribing support, ability to type at least 40 wpm.

**Qualifications:**

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification or diploma in Medical Assisting
• Proven experience working as a Medical Assistant or Scribe
• Proficiency in medical terminology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

**Responsibilities:**

• Rooming patients and preparing them for examinations
• Assisting healthcare providers with various clinical procedures
• Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records
• Providing scribing support during medical appointments
• Ensuring the cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and work areas
• Following all relevant safety and infection control procedures
• Collaborating with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care

**HOURS**

• Mondays - 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
• Thursdays - 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
• Fridays - 8:00 am to 12:00 pm
