Responsibilities:- The Medical Assistant supports the medical and nursing staff in providing care and comfort to infant, toddler, preschool, school-age, adolescent, and young adult patients during outpatient clinic appointments by performing routine clinical and clerical tasks.
- In addition, the Medical Assistant is responsible for phlebotomy and assisting with the application and removal of casts.

Qualifications:Required:
High school diploma or equivalent
Medical Assistant certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or obtained within 3 months of employment)
Medical terminology
Must be comfortable working within an electronic medical record
At least 1 year of experience working as a Medical Assistant in an outpatient clinic setting
Excellent customer service and communication skills with a strong commitment to teamwork
2 years of recent medical assistant experience in a clinic or physician's office (beyond internship)
Successful completion of certified medical assistant program
