MEDICAL ASSISTANT
Medical Assistant needed for fill-in staff relief at outpatient/ clinics. Hours needed are Monday - Friday 8AM-5PM or 8:30A-5:30PM.
Strong Clinical Skills and Customer Service is essential.
Pay range is $20 -$22 per hour. RMA/CMA preferred.
Medical Assistant Responsibilities and Duties:
- Appointment preparation
- Patient triage and rooming
- Assisting physicians with surgical and treatment procedures and order entry
- Documenting entries into the patient's medical record
- Returns patient calls and prescription call backs
- Check and Monitor Vitals
- Maintain compliance with organizational policies and procedures
- Manage and respond to electronic inboxes
Requirements:
- One year of work experience as a medical assistant
- EMR experience
- CPR Certification, (no online certifications)
- EKG experience
