Position Overview
Medical Office Assistant- This person assists in the provision of comprehensive health care as a member of a team of health care professionals. This individual functions in all areas of the office setting this includes both clinical and front desk duties.
Licensed Practical Nurse- Promotes and restores patients health by completing the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families; supervising assigned team members.
Location and Hours of Position
PHN Transfer Community Health Center: 225 Edgewood Dr, Transfer, PA 16154
This position is per-diem. General office hours Monday-Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
NO WEEKENDS
Compensation
Position starts at $17.00 per hour, PHN recognizes experience, education and site location when determining wage.
Qualifications
•Graduate of an approved school of nursing/medical assistant, and/or two years if experience in a clinical setting.

- Previous venipuncture experience or a willingness to learn
- Previous injection experience or willingness to learn
- Previous experience in calling prescriptions under a providers direction
