Medical Assistant - Total Medical Personnel Staffing

Job Description: Medical Assistant  Tuesday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm (Some Mondays)

Job Summary:

Assist with the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a nurse practitioner, registered nurse, licensed practical nurse or physician.

Job Requirements:

Most be knowledgeable in Athena EMR (Perferred but required)

Most be able to prep a sterile field

·         Medical Assistant Degree/ Diploma

·         Hard worker with excellent attendance and great customer service.

·         Perform select clinical, and, clerical duties (answering calls maintaining records and filing).

·         Understand the importance of HIPPA Guidelines.

·         Assist with maintaining a clean and professional environment.

·         Always willing and able to assist with any duties assigned.

Job Responsibilities:

·         Injections

·         Blood Draws

·         Running Labs

·         Vaccinations

·         Vitals

·         Assist with medical procedures

·         Prior authorizations

·         Triage Calls

 Bilingual a plus but not required.
