Our primary function is to offer continuous nursing, medical, and other health and social services on a 24-hour basis, under physician directed care and RN supervision.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Rooming patients.
• Taking vitals.
• Obtaining surgical, family and social history.
• Prior authorization for medications and procedures.
• Assisting with wound procedures.
• Application of DME.
• Assessing and monitoring wounds.
• Cleaning and bandaging wounds.
• Educating patients and caretakes on wound care, infection and injury prevention, and pressure ulcer care.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate from an accredited medical assistant program.
• Pass the CMA (AAMA) Exam or the RMA exam
• Maintain AAMA certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
