Job Description: The firm is seeking an experienced Medical Attorney to join its legal team. The ideal candidate will have a background in healthcare law or medical malpractice defense, with a strong understanding of medical and legal issues that affect healthcare providers. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an attorney passionate about healthcare law and dedicated to providing high-quality legal representation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent healthcare providers, hospitals, and medical organizations in medical malpractice defense and healthcare litigation.
• Advise clients on healthcare compliance, licensing, and regulatory matters, including HIPAA, state, and federal healthcare laws.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Collaborate with medical experts to prepare cases for trial or settlement.
• Attend hearings, mediations, and trials to advocate for clients.
• Provide proactive legal counsel on risk management and compliance strategies.

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school in Alabama.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare law, medical malpractice defense, or related legal practice.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of medical and healthcare laws and regulations.
• Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases effectively and work well within a team.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with medical experts.
