Position Summary: Royalty Medical Solutions is seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Biller specializing in Collections to join our team. In this role, you will be tasked with the timely and accurate collection of outstanding medical bills. Your expertise in medical billing processes and collections will be integral to maintaining the financial health of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and maintain accounts for outstanding balances, ensuring records are accurate and up to date
- Contact patients and insurance companies to follow up on unpaid claims
- Process and resolve billing discrepancies and denials
- Negotiate payment plans with patients for overdue accounts
- Prepare and submit appeals for any denied claims in a timely manner
- Document all communications regarding collections and billing activities
- Generate and review reports on collections performance and outstanding balances
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and healthcare guidelines related to billing and collections

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in medical billing, specifically within collections

- Ability to analyze and resolve billing issues effectively
