About the Job
We have an immediate onsite opportunity to join our growing company. We are currently seeking full-time (M-F 8:00 am-5:00 pm) Medical Billing Specialists for our Tracy office.
Job Responsibilities:
• Verify medical eligibility; benefit coverage and authorization requirements online or phone.
• Obtain authorization if required by plan via fax, email, or online.
• Process files within predesignated deadlines.
• Contact patients to obtain information to process insurance claims or bill patients accordingly.
• Contact Work Comp carriers to obtain information for authorizations and process accordingly.
• Preform other duties as needed.
Job Requirements:
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Typing minimum of 45 words per minute
• 1-2 Years of Medical Billing Experience Preferred
