Medical Billing Associate - Texas Tech University

Major/Essential Functions

• This position’s primary focus is on the review and resolution of insurance and/or patient credits in the billing system, which may involve posting or billing corrections, movement of credits within account(s), notification to payors for recoup processing, or refund to appropriate party.
• Work or assist in the resolution of credit balances by working insurance carrier and/or patient refunds.
• This position requires a self-motivated individual that is a quick learner.

• Experience in working with athenaIDX Billing and Accounts Receivable system
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  
• Additional experience in a clinic or physician's office preferred.
