HumanHire is working with a rapidly growing digital health company that helps patient access healthcare in a revolutionary way. They work with clinics throughout the country but this role will be sitting out of their Cheektowaga, NY location on a hybrid basis.

What you'll be doing:

• Collaborate with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and patients to ensure timely processing and payment of claims.
• Pursue reimbursement by contacting carriers and documenting all interactions in EMR system to track progress on outstanding accounts.
• Review and appeal unpaid or denied claims, and manage collections on outstanding balances.
• Verify patient benefits and accurately record patient responsibilities in the EMR system.
• Enter superbills and submit claims to multiple insurance companies.
• Post insurance payments, both paper and electronic, into the EMR system.
• Oversee accounts receivable, including medical billing, collections, and payment posting.

What they're seeking:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in AR/billing within a healthcare setting.
• Strong proficiency with Medent EMR
• Medical Billing Certification (strongly preferred).
