Job Details:

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm
• Pay Rate: $18-22/hr Based on Experience
• Employment Type: Contract to hire

Responsibilities: As a Medical Billing Representative, you'll be a crucial part of our team, responsible for:

• Exporting, importing, and submitting claims between systems
• Managing medical billing collections and follow-up processes
• Resolving insurance denials and addressing underpayments
• Reviewing medical claims and ensuring accuracy
• Identifying and resolving issues preventing claim resolution
• Accurate documentation and efficient data entry
• Verifying health insurance benefits for patients

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED is required
• Minimum of 1 year experience in healthcare billing is essential
• Understanding of CPT and ICD-10 codes is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Experience using EMR systems such as Epic/Navinet is advantageous
