Medical Billing Technician - Inceed

Compensation: $23-$25/hr 
Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 
Position: Medical Billing Technician

Inceed has partnered with a a respected and expanding company to help find a skilled Medical Billing Technician to join their team!

This role is crucial for ensuring the accurate coding of medical procedures, which directly impacts reimbursement and compliance with various regulations. As the organization expands, they seek a dedicated professional who can effectively navigate coding complexities while contributing to the overall quality of patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Manage assigned charge review and coding-related claim edit work queues to ensure timely and accurate charge capture.
• Review medical record documentation to accurately enter and post CPT and ICD-10 codes, ensuring compliance with Medicare and other payer-specific guidelines.
• Communicate coding discrepancies and provide guidance to providers and clients.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of coding experience and certification required.
• Certification from AAPC or an appropriate coding credential (e.g., CCS for Inpatient, CCS-P, CPC, or CPC-H for Outpatient).

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Knowledge of CMS rules and regulations.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Experience in rural health clinic coding is a plus.
