- Salary range: $85,000 to $90,000 depending on experience and interview process.

DAWSON is seeking a candidate to perform duties within the Medical Capability Development and Integration Directorate (MED CDID) in support of the organization’s four core competency missions: Concepts, Requirements. Experimentation and Integration.
This position provides analytical support of experimentation (conceptual, constructive, live) , emerging science and health information technology development and integration and assessment, research, modeling and simulation in support of delivering capabilities to Army 2030;
- Modeling and simulation (M&S) support of Army Health System;
- Input involving experimentation and force modernization capability development actions across Doctrine Organization Training Materiel
- Leadership and Education Personnel
- Facilities and Policy (DOTMLPF) domains
Qualifications for this role:
- Four years of Operational Strategic (theater), Operational (corps) and Tactical (division) command experience both in a deployed and institutional environment is highly desired.
- Experience in Modeling and Simulation (M&S) support of Army Health System "highly preferred".
- Graduate from the Command and General Staff College or Senior Service College considered "ideal".
- Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System SME with in-depth knowledge of the JCIDS process as it applies to the development of Information System (IS) requirements documents.
- Certificate in Operations Research and Systems Analysis, Military Application Course (ORSAMAC) or similar discipline degree.
- Technically proficient to support constructive computer-generated force simulations such as One Semi-Automated Force (OneSAF) software.
- An ACTIVE Secret Clearance is a must for this position
CONCEPTS
- Develop knowledge needs and learning demands to examine elements of the Medical Supporting Concept through a series of Quicklook, Limited Objective Experiments (LOE) designed to analyze specific functions and capabilities required to support revisions to the concept, O&O or required capabilities.
- Develop and brief Operational and Organizational (O&O) concepts for Standard Requirements Code (SRC) 08 Theater, Brigade, Battalion, Company, and Team medical units.
- Develop and brief a comprehensive CONOP that textually and graphically describes and illustrates the future operating environment, and provides the operational context needed to examine and validate required capabilities, and examine new and/or proposed capabilities required to solve a current or emerging problem
- Workflows are in compliance with the Army Concept Framework, the Army Futures Command Guidance on Army Concept Development Writer's Guide, the Mission Command Battle Lab Experimentation Guide, the US Army Futures Command Top-Down Futures Development Guide, and Army Regulation 25-50, and Field Manual 6-0.
REQUIREMENTS
- Use the Top-Down Future Development Process (TDFDP), knowledge needs, robust conceptual and constructive experimentation participation, and detailed research and analysis planning to inform how Army Health System capability and capacity will be organized, command and controlled, and arrayed throughout the operational framework.
- Provide technical expertise to support the review and development of Army medicine clinical concepts and assessment of clinical and non-clinical medical capabilities to ensure respective form, fit and function support and enable medical operations throughout the depth of the operational framework
- participate in all JCIDS process planning and assessment activities and will write requirement documents for approved required capabilities as directed.
- Document all observations and substantiate with supporting narratives and recommend mitigating solutions across the domains of Doctrine, Organization, Training, Materiel, Leadership and Education, Personnel, Facilities, and Policy (DOTMLPF-P)
EXPERIMENTATION
- Support collaborative and planning efforts, distributed experimentation integration activities, and execution of distributed simulation events. These efforts will include participation in Initial Planning Conference (IPC), Mid-Planning Conference (MPC), TS Enclave, and Battlefield Synch / Set the Conditions Seminar, Mission Rehearsals, and Final Planning Conference (FPC) for all simulation-supported experimentation.
INTEGRATION
- Conduct recurring internal and external integration tasks to ensure Health Service Support, Force Health protection and Information Management Systems capabilities are properly integrated into activity timelines and priorities.
- Conduct research and analysis, draft written products / white papers, information papers, trip reports, executive summaries and present problem using the insight, narrative and recommendation format.
- Build the associated medical database representing the appropriate task organization, capability, and environment for integration into federated events.
- Provide OneSAF operator training to military role players in support of disturbed federated events.
- Coordinate and synchronize constructive simulation support through the Sustainment CDID as directed or required by the Medical Battle Lab or FCC FID.
