Location: On-Site in Bedford, MA
Purpose
The Operations Assistant is responsible for working alongside Coding Production, Coding Specialist and Coding Resource teams to ensure that operational focused areas tasks, queries, and department needs are addressed and met.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor internal and external communications; ensure Teams channels/chats are being responded to
- Ensure all focused area operational workflow documentation is accurate and up to date
- Provide operational support to the Coding department focused areas in meeting their daily, weekly, or quarterly task(s)
- Review, analyze, and distribute coding production SSRS data reports, Tableau, and Command Center warnings to the Production Team’s attention for heightened awareness/planning
- Prepare and assist facilitator department meetings
- Work in collaboration with Resource Assistants on assignments and projects as received from Resource Coordinator and Resource Manager

Education (Degrees, Certificates, Licenses, Etc.)
High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Computer Skills
Prior word processing, spreadsheet and internet software including proficiency with MS Excel, MS Word and MS Outlook required.
Experience
- Prior experience and proficiency with MS Excel and Outlook required; Microsoft Teams experience is a plus
- Medical office background, Coding experience and/or certification is a plus
Specific Job Knowledge, Skill and Ability
- Ability to add, to subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedural manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time, use hands, talk, hear and occasionally walk and reach with hands or arms
