THIS IS AN ONSITE ROLE 6am to 2:30pm Monday - Friday
Position Description (Principle Duties and Responsibilities)
Performs in-house servicing and repair of company products at established company repair site or service center. Diagnoses mechanical, hardware, software and systems failures using established procedures. Performs maintenance, testing and calibration of repaired products. Prepares reports for analysis of product failure trends and service ability issues. May communicate with field-based technicians for details helpful to failure diagnostics or repair, but generally without direct client contact.
This position requires knowledge that is acquired through experience, specialized education, or training. The role has clearly defined procedures and tasks as well as defined guidelines to aid in decision making. The job should possess a good knowledge and comprehensive understanding of the range of processes, procedures and systems to be used in carrying out assigned tasks and a basic understanding of the underlying concepts & principles upon which the job is based. The knowledge can be acquired through a combination of job-related training and considerable on-the-job experience. The job works within well-defined procedures that may involve a variety of work routines.
- This job typically requires a minimum of 1-3 years experience.
- Performs service of products in depot level repair setting.
- Troubleshoots and repairs technical issues that could not be repaired at the customer site or from simple return of product
- Troubleshoots and repairs technical issues
- Provides data to pre and post market engineering teams for product and service development activities
- Maintains quality records pre and post servicing of equipment
