My medical device client is an innovative start-up company that provides products for tissue reconstruction. They are converting their distribution model to a direct sales force within the U.S. They are seeking a Medical Sales Rep responsible for new business development within an assigned territory. Responsibilities will include penetrating new business opportunities and managing clients. This position involves presentations to surgeons and strategic positioning of the product within the market.
Profile:
- Experience getting products approved, working VAC Committee is required
- Orthopedics, Biologics, Hardware, Regenerative Medicine and/or Plastic Surgical experience
- Seeking reps with longevity in positions, with most recent role 2-4 years+
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Min. 2+ years Medical Device Sales experience in an OR setting within Orthopedics, Podiatry, Plastics and/or Vascular
- New business development experience; familiar with reimbursement and approval process
- Ability to develop and manage relationships amongst key decision makers
- Documented sales success (stats, rankings, quota achievements)
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to travel as needed within territory
Offering:
- Base Salary $75,000 – $90,000 (based on experience)
- Year 1 @ plan $200,000
- Guarantee for 6 months $30,000
- Uncapped Commissions (Commission 15% paid from dollar 1)
