Job Overview Medical Director:
Take on a leadership role in clinical affairs as the Medical Director in New York, NY. In this role, you will work closely with the Center Director to manage medical operations, oversee clinical staff, and implement healthcare policies to enhance patient care.
Location: New York, NY (Position available in Bronx, Queens, or Manhattan)
Compensation: $152,000 $171,000/year
Schedule: Monday to Friday

Take on a leadership role in clinical affairs as the Medical Director in New York, NY. In this role, you will work closely with the Center Director to manage medical operations, oversee clinical staff, and implement healthcare policies to enhance patient care.

Responsibilities as the Medical Director:
- Medical History Review: Continually update and interpret medical history data.
- Policy Review: Collaborate with Human Resources to review EHS policies and procedures.
- Medical Examinations: Conduct comprehensive medical examinations for employees as per EHS guidelines.
- Laboratory Data Interpretation: Review and interpret all laboratory data, and manage abnormal reports and follow-ups.
- Case Management: Review and manage problem cases, providing referrals as needed.
- Staff Evaluation: Periodically evaluate the efficiency and quality of client services with EHS staff.
- Consultation: Regularly consult with the Vice President, Medical Affairs/Medical Director, and Human Resources.
- Staff Conferences: Participate in monthly staff physician conferences to discuss relevant subjects.
- Education: Medical degree from an approved Medical School.
- Licensing: Current New York City license to practice medicine and surgery.
- Residency: Completion of residency training from an approved program.
- Credentialing: Successful completion of the credentialing process.
- Hospital Privileges: Ability to obtain hospital admitting privileges.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse socio-economic, cultural, and religious backgrounds.
