Job Description:
Full-time outpatient position with leadership/Division Chair interest.
Seeking a provider who plans to stay and practice within the community
Serves as the clinician who oversees and guides the outpatient care and the medical director(s) of quality for primary care, facilitates office flow and addresses day-to-day clinical aspects, and acts as the direct clinical supervisor for outpatient medical practitioners
The Primary Care Medical Director will spend 1/3 of the scheduled time, approximately 12 hours per week on Medical Director Responsibilities and 2/3 of time, 28 hours per week as a primary care clinician and will work collaboratively and cooperatively as a member of the health care team within the Health Centers and the Hospital
20-24 patients per day
Enjoys EMR Optimization, implementation and development, best practice strategies as well as direct patient care
Community call (including local nursing home patients) TBD, likely 1:4
EMR is Meditech Expanse, Dragon dictation
Reports to the Chief Medical Officer
Supported by an RN Team leader and designated MA
Specialist services available through Upper Connecticut Valley Hospital a couple times per week. Audiology, Cardiology, ENT/Allergy, General Surgery, Neurology, OB/GYN, Orthopaedics, Podiatry, Pulmonary Medicine, Radiology, Sleep Medicine,Tele-Medicine Rheumatology, Urology.
Excellent IT and Marketing support to help build volume
Compensation and Benefits:

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Board Certified Family Medicine OR Internal Medicine (will consider Board Eligible but must have plans to become Board Certified shortly after employment) - REQUIRED
NH license (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
5+ years in practice in outpatient primary care - REQUIRED
BLS, ACLS - REQUIRED
Leadership training and/or experience - HIGHLY PREFERRED

A finance charge of one and one-half percent (1.5%) per month will be added to any fee not paid within thirty (30) days of its due date. If, within ninety (90) days of the start date, the Direct Hire Candidate should be terminated for performance reasons or should voluntarily resign from the position for which the Direct Hire Candidate was hired, Client may either (1) request and receive a replacement at no additional charge no later than ten (10) days after *** and SSP receive the termination notice or (2) receive a pro-rated refund for the Direct Hire fee based on the number of days that the Direct Hire Candidate worked. Terminations due to position elimination or staff downsizing do not qualify for the guarantee. The guarantee set forth in this section shall not apply if Client fails to pay the fee for the Direct Hire Candidate in question.
