Description
We are looking for a great veterinarian to lead as Medical Director at Belton Small Animal Clinic who shares our passion for practicing veterinary medicine.
Our Medical Director supports the team and upholds a positive teamwork environment for our veterinarians and staff deliver high quality medicine and exceptional client service. While partnering with the Practice Manager, you will be responsible for providing medical guidance for the practice, managing associate veterinarians, and assuring medical regulatory compliance.

- Partnering with your Practice Manager and Regional Operations Manager to ensure regulatory compliance, assist in the preparation of annual planning strategy, and develop a vision for the growth of the practice
- Partnering with local hospital leadership to lead the team, ensuring a culture of teamwork, high quality medicine for our patients, and financial success for the clinic
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university, or equivalent
- Active veterinarian licensure in good standing to practice in the state of Texas
- Positive and effective experience leading veterinarians and veterinary technicians preferred
- A strong ability to manage staff and outcomes with emotional intelligence
- Commitment to the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics
- Experience effectively delegating tasks and achieving results with practice team members
