Position Summary:

The Medical Education Coordinator is responsible to assist and support the Administrative Director of Medical Education (ADME) and the Director of Medical Education (ADIO) in management of all aspects of training for the Family Medicine Residency program. This Coordinator works collaboratively with the Program Director and Assistant Program Director of the Family Medicine Residency program to assure compliance to accreditation agency requirements, inclusive but not limited to, the ACGME, DNV and CMS. The position works collaboratively with the Academic Sponsoring Institution (Midwestern University Consortium) that provides oversite for the graduate education training programs to assure compliance to associated training standards. This position works collaboratively with the coordinators of the Internal Medicine, GI Fellowship and General Surgery programs to help assure a collegial learning environment for all trainees which includes participation in the on-boarding of medical students. This Coordinator is the primary resource person for the Interns and Residents assigned to the Family Medicine residency program sponsored by Mountain Vista Medical Center.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED
• 3-5 years experience in graduate medical education

Preferred Requirements:

• Associates Degree
• TAGME certification
