Job Description
The Medical Informatics Coordinator II will provide needs-analysis and deliver information to all departments of the company. This role is responsible for informatics project management, including needs analysis, timeline development, report/data generation, implementation, and maintenance. This position requires strong project management skills and knowledge of SQL/SQL Server, Crystal Reports, healthcare finance, and Microsoft Office applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with department leaders to determine and fulfill data/reporting needs.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously with tracking mechanisms, deliverable dates, and documentation.
- Ensure company-wide data delivery and maintain/verify deliverables.
- Create documentation for activities and prepare files for Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS) measurements.
- Maintain code for HEDIS reporting measures.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3 years of experience in project management, report generation, and health insurance
- 3 years of experience with SQL Server and Crystal Reports
- Familiarity with HEDIS reporting measures
- Knowledge of healthcare finance
- Strong project management skills and proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, Crystal Reports, and Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent interpersonal skills for frequent interaction with various levels of staff
