About the Job
Our clinical lab boasts state of the art equipment and a spacious central location. We support the over 450 clinicians serving the greater Vancouver and Portland communities. New grads are encouraged to apply; MLS, MLT or equivalent certification will be required or obtained within 6-months.
In this role you will perform laboratory tests accurately and within specific turnaround times, verify sample identification, record test results, and notify appropriate person within established, acceptable times for "panic" values. Must have ability to calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment, great attention to detail, ability to collaborate with other lab and clinic staff, and have excellent written and verbal communication.
Schedule is full time evening hours with a weekend rotation.
Pay range for MLT starts at: $28.43 and goes up based on experience
Pay range for MLS starts at $33.16 and goes up based on experience
Evening ($2.00) and Saturday/Sunday ($2.50) Differential Availabl e!
Requirements:
- MLS requires Bachelor of Science in Biological, Chemical, Physical or Clinical Lab Science.
- MLT requires Associate of Science in Clinical Lab Science.
- Current certification as a MLT, MLS, or MT required (ASCP preferred).
- At least one year of MLT/MLS generalist experience in a clinical laboratory setting preferred.
- Personnel are tested for visual color discrimination. Documentation of passing color discrimination testing required.
Pay Range:
$28.43 - $42.64

PTO and Personal Time accruals are pro-rated by FTE/hours worked. Non-benefits eligible employees will accrue Personal Time based on hours worked and State worked.
