The Medical laboratory scientist generalist works closely and with the advice of a Laboratory Technologist in the performance of diagnostic procedures. Procedures are performed as efficiently and expeditiously as possible. Laboratory Technicians may exercise limited independent judgment and work under the supervision of a Laboratory Technologist, Supervisor or Director. This is a part time, varies shift position. 

Education

• Bachelor's degree (Preferred) 
• Associates degree in MLT or related field (Required) 
  
• Certificate training program at an approved school for Medical Technician level training leading to state licensure 

Licensure/Certification/Registration

• Current Florida License TC - Laboratory Clinical Technician

Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
• Previous laboratory experience preferred
