Summary: Are you an accomplished professional in your field who wants to give back to your community? Joining the faculty at SJVC is a great way to make a real impact on the next generation. Faculty members are primarily responsible for the teaching and learning process in the classroom. Faculty members facilitate and ensure student learning and mastery of course, program, and institutional learning outcomes as defined in the curriculum and course syllabi. Faculty are supported and supervised by the Academic Dean, Program Director and/or Division Manager.
What We Offer: The targeted starting pay range for this position is between $20.00 - $25.00 per hour. Our benefits program for part-time colleagues (working at least 20 hours per week) includes paid vacation and state-compliant sick leave. We offer a 401k profit-sharing plan with a discretionary match and tuition assistance to employees.

Education and/or Experience:
- Associate degree
- Certified or Registered Medical Assistant
- Licensed Vocational or Registered Nurse with MA experience may be considered.
- Knowledge of back-office skills required.
- Certified, Registered, or Licensed Phlebotomy Technician preferred (AMT, NPA, ASCLS, ASPT, NCCT, CDPH, or NHA)
- BLS Provider (AHA preferred)
Schedule: Monday - Thursday 7 am - 1pm, occasional Friday hours.
