About the Job
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Medical Receptionist. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in front desk operations and patient care. Experience in medical imaging highly preferred, but not required.
This role is vital in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, from greeting patients to coordinating appointments, handling administrative tasks, and supporting the imaging department.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet a nd check in patient s in a friendly a nd professional manner.
• Verify patient in formation a nd update records a s needed.
• Schedule a nd confirm patient a ppointments, in cluding those for imaging services (X-rays, MRIs, etc.).
• Handle patient in quiries a nd provide in formation on services offered by the medical center.
• Coordinate with medical a nd imaging staff to ensure timely patient flow.
• Process in surance verifications a nd handle billing-related in quiries.
• Manage a nd organize patient files, ensuring compliance with medical record-keeping regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
• A ssist in preparing imaging paperwork a nd ensuring proper documentation before procedures.
• A nswer phone calls a nd direct the m to the a ppropriate departments.
• Ensure the reception are a is clean, organized, a nd we lcoming a t a ll times.
• Perform other a dministrative duties a s a ssigned.
Qualifications:
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required .
Experience :
◦ Previous experience in a medical receptionist role is required .
◦ Experience in imaging or radiology departments is highly preferred .
Skills:
+ Excellent communication a nd in terpersonal skills.
+ PIP verification experience
+ Strong organizational a bilities a nd a ttention to detail.
+ Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems a nd Microsoft Office Suite.
+ A bility to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
+ Knowledge of medical terminology, especially related to imaging services.
Physical Requirements:
• A bility to sit, stand, a nd walk for extended periods.
• Manual dexterity to operate office equipment.
• A bility to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally.
Work Environment:
• This position operates in a clinical setting. The role requires regular in teraction with patient s, medical professional s, a nd a dministrative staff.

• Maintain patient confidentiality a nd a dhere to HIPAA regulations.

• Fluency in conversational English & Spanish
Work Schedule A
• Monday - Friday 10am - 6pm
• Occasional Saturdays Required
Work Schedule B
• Monday - Friday 2pm - 10pm
• Occasional Saturdays Required
