Pay From: $18 Per Hour
MUST:
4+ years of experience in specialty/private medical office practice
Experience pre-authorizing procedures and handling pre-certs
Ability to process referrals
Verify insurance
Ability to assist with inquiries
Responding to medical record requests
Must have strong-EMR experience
Strong scheduling experience
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
DUTIES:
The duties of the Medical Receptionist include but are not limited to the following:
Answering phone calls
Respond to inquiries and medical record requests
Obtaining pre-authorizations and pre-certs on various procedures
Scheduling appointments
Responding to inquiries
Process referrals
Forwarding calls to appropriate contact
Entering patient information into EMR
Providing customer service
Assisting patients as needed
