About the Job
New Vista is currently recruiting for a Medical Records Clerk at River Vista.
THE ROLE:
Under general supervision, the Medical Records Clerk provides medical records services including but not limited to preparing and maintaining paper and electronic medical records, filling medical records requests, and assisting in office functions where needed.In addition, the Medical Record Clerk creates new patient packets, copies and scans documents, and researches, retrieves, inspects, and enters information in the electronic medical record.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Computer/keyboarding skills and working knowledge of office equipment operations;
- Maintain high level of accuracy in fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrates effectiveness in conveying information both in writing and verbally.
- Ability to convey information both in writing and verbally.
- Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
- Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy.
