Medical Reimbursement Analyst - Sparks Group

About the Job
Responsibilities:
- Manage complex billing, coding, insurance inquiries, and appeals.
- Coordinate with payers, Patient Navigators, and clients.
- Resolve denied or underpaid claims.
- Assess patient insurance coverage and eligibility.
- Reverify benefits and document activities
- Serve as a regional contact for senior-level clients.
- Coordinate tasks between Occam and the client.
- Communicate with Patient Navigators for patient progress.
- Attend client meetings, training, and conferences (5% travel).
- Research payer medical policy and update requirements.
- Prepare and review reports as needed.
- Complete quality monitoring and assurance tasks
- Host conference calls with senior-level clients.
- Review and process documentation for patient support program eligibility.
- Additional tasks and duties as assigned
Qualifications/Background Profile:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 4 years of recent healthcare experience (2 years direct industry preferred).
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with a preference for call center experience.
- Advanced problem-solving, research, and analytical capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and exceptional data entry accuracy.
- Proven ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and prioritize work independently.
- Must pass a criminal background screening
