JOB INFORMATION:Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Sales Representative to join our team. This position represents the company at healthcare provider offices, healthcare related trade shows, and health fair, etc. and presents the company as an option for product purchases for both their healthcare provider offices and their patients. In the State of NY this position pays entry level sales candidates with little to no experience $45,000/yr base and experienced sales candidates with existing contact and referrals in the market can expect to make $45,000/yr - $50,000/yr base in the first 12 months.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

- Attends trade shows or special events as assigned at local and/or long distant locations to include weekly work schedule as well as nights and weekends
- Contacts individuals previously solicited in person, by telephone or by mail to close sale
- Delivers merchandise as needed
- Develops and maintains relationships with all customers (existing or potential)
- Distributes and displays sample products, explains desirable qualities of products, and leaves samples, or distributes advertising literature explaining service or products at doctor office, hospitals, medical groups or where required
- Investigates and solves customer problems related to deliveries, to include issues with the delivery, invoicing, customer service and/or processing of the order
- Must maintain daily contact with the sales department through the use of contact database
- Must submit on a weekly basis, any company required documentation to include documentation to process orders and documentation for payroll
- Obtains and maintains wholesale, customer/referral sources, (doctor's offices and medical centers, hospitals, etc.) and medical supply contracts
- Obtains billing documentation as needed (i.e. prescriptions from physicians)
- Presents the company’s wholesale product purchasing program to healthcare providers and generates sales orders
- Presents the company's retail services to healthcare providers and generates provider patient referrals to the company
- Sell products such as pharmaceuticals, durable medical equipment, disposable medical supplies, medical office supplies, prosthetics for wholesale/retail accounts such as doctor's offices and hospitals and institutions such as nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, organizations that support cancer survivors and chronic diabetes.
- Territory will be determined and defined by the company and assigned to the rep at the company's discretion, changes in territory assignment will be left to the sole discretion of the company
- Travels from one area to another, or is assigned to specified territory
- Writes and submits orders to company by completing sales sheets
- Performs other duties as assigned
Employment is contingent on

- Valid driver’s license in state of residence with a clean driving record (when applicable for the position)
Required Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or GED equivalent, required
- Three months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred Education and/or Experience
- Experience with medical equipment, preferred
- Medical terminology, preferred
Skills and Competencies
- Accurately perform simple mathematical calculations
- Effectively communicate in English; both oral and written
- Interpret a variety of communications (verbal, non-verbal, written, listening and visual)
- Maintain confidentiality, discretion and caution when handling sensitive information
- Multi-task along with attention to detail
- Self-motivation, organized, time-management and deductive problem solving skills
- Work independently and as part of a team
Physical Demands
- Lift and carry office equipment at times around the office
- Requires sitting, walking, standing, talking and listening
- Requires close vision to small print on computer and/or tablet and paperwork
