Medical Secretary - TEKsystems

We are currently partnered with a top cardiology group in the CT area! They are looking to add a Medical Secretary to their team.

Must be able to float to the following locations: West Hartford, Hartford, Glastonbury, Avon.

SHIFT: Need to be able to start as early as 7:15 on some days and stay until 5pm. 40 hours per week; Mon - Fri.

The Medical Secretary will be tied to a Dr. and MA and they will work out of the offices mentioned above throughout the week.

• The medical secretary will be responsible for checking patients in and out for their appointments.
• Scheduling appointments; rescheduling and canceling as needed.
• Manage insurance verification
• New patient registration
• Work in a high volume/fast paced environment
• Work with patient medical records

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• 2+ years of medical administration experience
• Patient registration
• Insurance verification
• Medical scheduling
