MHS is currently seeking part-time Medical Services Liaison / Drivers to join the medical team. This position assists the medical services department and the school nurses providing high-quality health care by transporting students to/from off-campus appointments and attending the appointments with them. This professional ensures that information is accurately shared and understood by all parties involved (need to know basis). Furthermore, this role is responsible for delivering medications to the student homes on campus. The hours for this position will not exceed 29 hours per week and the ability to be flexible with the schedule is required. Current available shifts are:
- Monday-Thursday 11:00 am - 5:30 pm & Friday 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm
- Monday- Friday 29 hours per week, hours between 1:00 pm - 8:00 pm (medication delivery on campus)
- Monday- Friday 29 hours per week, hours between 11:30 am - 7:00 pm
Hourly pay rate: $15.43 - $20.59, pay is determined based on experience. Part-time employees are eligible for a retirement savings plan, an employee assistance program (EAP), free lunches when on duty, and Hershey area discounts.
Qualifications:- High school diploma or GED required.
- CPR/First Aid/AED Certified required or ability to obtain one within one month upon hiring.
- Valid PA Driver’s License in good standing required; must have the ability to drive 8 passengers in a school van (training is provided).
- Physical ability to lift and assist injured students.
- Respect for confidentiality of all information pertaining to students, staff, and others in the school community.
- Knowledge of MHS campus and surrounding communities is a plus.
- Spanish fluency a plus.
- Candidates should demonstrate a high degree of integrity as all MHS Staff are role models for MHS students.
- Candidates should be willing to actively engage with MHS students beyond the scope of their job responsibilities.
