Job Description:
The Medical Staff Services Business Coordinator Provides ongoing support and coordination across the region; being a liaison between the Medical Staff, Administration and Medical Staff Services. The position operationalizes and directs the on-going administrative functions for Medical Staff Services.
Hybrid working-from-home Schedule. Working business hours Monday-Friday.
Essential Functions
+ Designs and operationalizes a regional onboarding process for all providers in the Front Range. Assures that the provider onboarding is customized to the provider's specialty and role within the care site. This includes ongoing strategic planning and coordination of the program with the care site Medical Staff Services professionals, the providers and the key stake holders involved in the onboarding process.
+ Acts as an internal consultant to all levels of the organization in the onboarding process
+ Operationalizes and manages the onboarding process.
+ Coordinates, tracks, validates, and manages the invoicing process for all Front Range Care Sites including ongoing collaboration with finance and contract management partners.
+ Manages the EMTALA (Emergency Medical Treatment and Labor Act) and other call schedules for all care sites across the Front Range.
+ Manages the medical staff dues collection process for all Front Range Care sites including managing the dues fund budgets.
+ Supports facility initiatives to improve physician engagement. Provides leadership, coordination, and support to all Front Range medical staff leaders for special projects such as Medical Staff Annual Dinners, Doctor’s Day, and other special functions.
+ May provide support to Medical Staff Committee’s and Task Forces as needed, including agenda prep, recording minutes, reports and staffing.

Required Qualifications
+ Demonstrated experience in project management.
+ Demonstrated experience in medical staff services.
+ An understanding of EMTALA (Emergency Medical Treatment and Labor Act) and experience applying in work.
+ Requires excellent time management and organizational skills in order to handle multiple projects simultaneously, with attention to detail.
+ Demonstrates a high level of customer service and follow through.
+ Strong computer skills using databases, Microsoft Office Suite, Google, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
+ Three years of experience as a medical staff coordinator, medical staff credentials specialist or privileging coordinator.

+ Frequent interactions with providers, colleagues, customers, patients/clients and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, needs, and issues quickly and accurately.
+ Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate supplies and equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer use for typing, accessing needed information, etc.
+ For roles requiring driving: Expected to drive a vehicle which requires sitting, seeing and reading signs, traffic signals, and other vehicles.
