Medical Technologist - Steward Health Care

Position Summary:

Performs a wide range of complex clinical laboratory analyses in all major sections of the Laboratory. Recognizes problems, identifies causes, synthesizes alternatives, and applies solutions. Confirms and verifies results through an in-depth knowledge of techniques, principles, and instrumentation. Reports to the Section Head.

Required Knowledge & Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Detail oriented and organizational skills

Exercises accuracy and precision in completion of prescribed tasks and treatments.

Education: Bachelors degree in Medical Technology or equivalent

Experience: 1-year experience in Clinical Laboratory or equivalent

Certification/Licensure: MT (ASCP) or equivalent
