Job Details:Responsibilities:
- Performing a variety of clinical tests.
- Perform various biochemical, microscopic, blood bank and/or bacteriological tests.
- Obtain data for use in the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of disease.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related science from an accredited school required.
- Licensed under the NYS Dept of Education as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist required.
- Knowledge of hematology, chemistry, blood bank, and/or microbiology required.
- Hospital experience desired.
- Must work weekends and holidays as scheduled.
- One year internship at an accredited hospital or one year practical experience required.
- Good oral and written communication skills essential.
This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
