The Medical Technologist II performs routine and special tests according to written protocols to determine test results that will assist in diagnosing and treating patients.
The Medical Technician III performs routine and special tests according to written protocols to determine test results that will assist in diagnosing and treating patients.
Bachelors Degree in biological, chemical, physical, or clinical laboratory science from an accredited institution; and completion of a twelve month clinical laboratory training program approved by the U.S. Department of Education and/or accredited by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS) or equivalent; and completion of a nationally recognized certification examination for clinical laboratory scientists, such as that offered by the America Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or equivalent. Proficiency in the English language required.
