One of our clients, a CLIA-certified clinical and diagnostic laboratory, is looking for a Medical Technologist in Toxicology Data Analysis to join their team.
Contract Type: Full-Time Direct Hire (W2)
Salary: $35-40/hr, depending on previous experience
Location: Baton Rouge, LA (Relocation assistance available)

Shift Options:
- Day Shift: Monday-Friday with rotating Saturdays

Job Description:
The Toxicology Data Analyst will lead the toxicology department by conducting a wide range of clinical tests using both automated and manual procedures under the supervision of the Laboratory Manager. Your data analysis and medical technology expertise will be pivotal in delivering high-quality diagnostic services that enhance community health and well-being.
Responsibilities & duties:
- Perform data analysis using liquid chromatography/mass spectrometry instrumentation and software to interpret quantitative results accurately and within designated turnaround times.
- Monitor test systems and quality control to ensure acceptable performance levels.
- Order and maintain inventory for the toxicology department.
- Adhere to CLIA, CAP, HIPAA, OSHA, and safety guidelines as per respective regulations.
- Identify and promptly resolve operational problems to maintain seamless laboratory operations.
- Collaborate with team members across departments to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Required Qualifications:
- MLT, MT/CLS, Louisiana State Licensed or qualified to apply for licensure in Louisiana.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Medical Technology, or a related science.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Medical Technologist/Technician.
- At least 3 years of experience in toxicology data analysis.
