Title: MedSSI: Logistics / Warehouse Property Specialist (LN) Belong, Connect, Grow with KBR! PROGRAM SUMMARY: The Diplomatic Platform Support Services (DiPSS) works in support of the Department of State to provide medical support services. The primary scope of this program is to execute medical support services at the United States Embassy and adjacent facilities in the Middle East. POSITION SUMMARY: The Logistics/Warehouse Property Specialist is assigned daily work under direct supervision and is responsible for warehouse layout planning, establishment of document files, preparation of required documents and reports. May also explain instructions and documentation to plan work activities. RESPONSIBILITIES: + Receives, checks in, and issues materials in support of construction and maintenance activities. Responsible for warehouse layout planning, establishment of document files, preparation of required documents and reports. + Maintains inventories and completes records. + Ensures proper planning, receipt, storage, and issue of all project material and the control of project furnished small tools and third party rentals. + Helps coordinate movement of materials and equipment to work locations and sets up work site. + Completes and reviews records, maintains tools and equipment, and performs various clean up activities. + Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment. + Job may require moderate to heavy lifting. MATERIAL & EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED: + Use of Land Mobile Radios, cell phones, laptop, and other devices to maintain contact and accountability of work activities. PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES: + Physical requirements include lifting up to 35lb, team lifting up to 50lbs, climbing, extended sitting, or standing, stooping, stretching, and bending. + Work may require using and wearing personal protective equipment such as, hearing and eye protection, + Day-to-day physical requirements may involve standard office activities including sitting/standing for extended periods of time, attending meetings, use of keyboard and mouse repetitively, lifting and carrying less than 20 lbs. frequently, etc. + Work requires moderate physical exertion including walking to operating areas and walking up stairs.
