Position Summary:
NAR’s Member Experience team is seeking a highly skilled Coordinator to support the delivery of high-quality events and member experiences. Reporting to the Director, Member Experience, the ideal candidate will have keen attention to detail; a collaborative and positive attitude; superior organizational and time-management skills; and thrive on supporting team members in the execution of world-class events and member experiences.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to assess desired outcomes and needs, and build out the meeting experience accordingly.
- Support and coordinate meeting logistics for both in-person and virtual events for the Legal Affairs and Engagement Team.
- Work with NAR meetings and events staff, NAR committee leadership and other subject matter experts to ensure a consistent and positive meeting and event experience for attendees.
- Provide on-site and virtual support for meetings and events hosted by the Legal Affairs and Engagement Teams.
- Keep teams informed of and on track to meet internal and external deadlines and requirements
- Assist with the preparation and execution of promotional efforts and communication strategy for meetings and events, including coordinating messaging and asset needs with internal groups.
- Collaborate in the creation and delivery of various resources, handouts, and materials. Work with the website team to post and promote Legal Affairs resources.
- Other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of professional event planning experience; communications experience is a plus
- Skilled in meeting deadlines and adapting to fast-changing priorities in a challenging and fast-paced work environment
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Positive Team Player Attitude - strive for excellence, demonstrate flexibility and reliability
- Highly collaborative, with strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with multiple teams.
- Ability to think in innovative ways to find solutions to problems
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks, use initiative and judgment to accomplish assigned tasks in an organized, timely, and accurate manner
- Exceptional communication skills—verbal, written, and presentation
- Strong customer and vendor relations and interpersonal skills with a high level of response to all inquiries
- Occasional travel required (10%)
