A prominent organization is seeking a Meetings & Events Assistant to help navigate their busy event season and support two main events. This role is a perfect fit for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments while maintaining strong attention to detail.
Job Description:
The Meetings & Events Assistant will support the event logistics team by managing backend tasks, ensuring smooth event operations, and providing customer service to registrants and attendees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with event registrations by addressing technical questions and cross-checking data
- Run registration reports for event attendees
- Provide logistical support for webinars and meetups
- Assist in the creation and distribution of event-related communications
- Maintain a high level of customer service for members and colleagues
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 3-4 years of administrative experience in an office environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Zoom experience preferred for hosting virtual meetings
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced setting
- Strong communication skills and the ability to quickly learn new tasks
